A story of beginning

The inception of Shisso Tea originally began like a little spark of light in my minds 12 years ago in 2006. After 5 years of research and development, the vision had ignited into a Sole Proprietorship in 2011. Over the past 5 years the business model has developed further as it has adapted to its industry and has now expanded its reach of impact to the global tea community alongside the local market.

Shisso Tea is more than just a tea company, we are a catalyst for positive change within our industry by establishing, conducting and sustaining ethical business practices in all that we do. Our goal is to create a balanced vertically integrated organization giving us the authority to bring farm direct, hand-blended tea from country of origin to customer. We will accomplish this through direct and environmentally sustainable sourcing of indigenous ingredients. Accompanied by employing ethically and locally, we will have the honouring opportunity of facilitating economic development. We will establish authenticity in the transparency of our hand-blending practices and ingredients. Pairing this with our training program of culture, health benefits and proper brewing techniques of our product will result encouraging cultural preservation. This unorthodox business model will be finalized with the establishment of tea houses situated greatly in the North American market, alongside each tea growing region we are sourcing from. This will not only create global unity but will also provide us the opportunity to cultivate economic development in our tea communities.
